Pre- Sea Training Course for Ratings ( Deck Engine )

Minimum Eligibility Standards

10TH/ S.S.L.C and above age 18 - 24 years
Eye Sight 6/6 in each without visual aids and colour. Blindness Medical fitness as per M.S Rules in force

After completing the course successfully C.D.C. will be issued

What is C.D.C ?
It is a Continuous Discharge Certificate, that is a compulsory merchant certificate / passport to work on board a passenger ship. It is a must to get this permit book.

Admission Procedure for Pre-Sea Courses

For Prospectus / Application Kit, please contact The Education Counsellor, Institute of Marine Technology, Nepal .

(i) Selection will be done through personal interview at Kathmandu.

(ii) Candidates with good communication skills in English will be given preference.

About Classes

Duration of the course will be 4 months. Hostel facility will be provided along with the study materials.
