Hostel Accommodation and Messing

The pre-sea training course for ratings is totally residential in nature. Candidates are housed in various cabins / rooms allotted to them, on a sharing basis. Each cabin has double bunks to accommodate 2 candidates, with an attached toilet. The accommodation is specially designed to have the look and feel of a cabin aboard a passenger / merchant navy vessel.

In house messing is provided to all candidates. The variety and standard of food is also similar to the fare serverd aboard of ships.
